Isolated IOs in the Remote Autonomous Zone Node RTU/PLC
The RV-N55-9 RAZN is an RTU automated peripheral with many Isolated Inputs and Outputs.
Many General Purpose IO (GPIO) features are configurable, and this one device has many IO features. RV-N55-9C has all isolated GPIOs as Switched Voltage SV outputs.
The version RV-N55-9D has the Terminal A SV outputs configured to control Solenoids. 3-Pin solenoids can be controlled by the RV-N55-9D version.
This RV-N55-9 RAZN has 14 IO features, and 8 of them are totally Isolated from the RAZN and from each other.
SCADA systems can link via wireless long-range, or Ethernet, or RS-232 so SCADA links will work reliably with the RAZN.
Technical information about the IO terminal architecture is shown on the Terminal Information page..
Communicate with Raveon’s data radio modem inside this RAZN. TCP/IP Ethernet ports are available, and RS-485 serial ports are on all RAZNs.
Drive a Solenoid with the switched voltage output drivers, and Autonomous duration limitations in the RAZN will pulse the Solenoid correct.
For a 2-Pin solenoid driver, the RV-N55-5 is setup to do that.
Long Range Wireless options are: narrow UHF or VHF channels, or license-free ISM band. Internal wireless modems within the RAZN can link RAZNs together.
To meet your needs, Raveon created this easy to use RAZN which can be a RTU or PLC, with wireless data links built into it, and many great IO features.
And it has more Programmable Logic Features within it (for Autonomous operation) than any other RTU or PLC in the world.
Use this as an RTU or PLC. You can control it to do what ever you want it to do, and it can also autonomously do what needs to be done.
This makes your system safer because it will do things if the controller or network fails.
