Raveon’s Data Radio Modems are available in OEM versions.


The RV-M8 UHF radio modem modules, used in our RV-M21 Tech series radio modems. These modules are idea for integrating into OEM products.

These modules are smart radios, and Raveon is willing to add custom firmware to them to meet your needs.


The RV-M8 VHF radio modem modules, used in our RV-M21 Tech series radio modems. These modules are idea for integrating into OEM products.  Thy are FCC certified in 220MHz band, so they can be used for Positive Train Control (PTC) and Railroad RF Band Pass.

The RV-Z50 Cellular modem module is certified and pin-compatible with all other Raveon OEM radio modem modules.
We created this Z50 to a customer that needed Cellular reliable interface.  If you need it, we can re-create it for you.

RV-M6 Daisy Radio

Miniature OEM radio module, 2watts RF output, VHF narrow band. The M6 OEM Radio Modem is low-cost rugged single-board 2W VHF/UHF/800MHz narrow-band OEM data radio modem with digital serial interface. Ideal for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), SCADA and telemetry applications. It is over-the-air compatible with Raveon’s 5-watt M7 and M8 series of data radios. It has GPS tracking option, with TDMA and build in GPS receiver.

Th RV-M35 is the same radio, at lower RF TX power and ultra-low cost. It has 10-100mW RF output and can communicate over 500 meters, up to 1-2 miles.

RV-M50 Daisy Radio  (LoRa Modem)

Miniature ISM band LoRa data radio modem.  The RV-M50  radio modem module operates on License-Free radio spectrum.  In the USA, it is in the 915MHz ISM band. The RV-M50 OEM radio modem is a small, very low-power radio modem for use in the license-free USA 902-928MHz ISM band and EU 868MHz band.

Having the longest communication range in its class (with an unprecedented 1W max output), it is ideal for meter reading, telemetry, GPS tracking, SCADA and network extension. RV-M35 Daisy Radio

Miniature Low-cost Low-Power OEM radio module, 100mW RF output, VHF/UHF narrow band. The M35 OEM Radio Modem is low-cost rugged single-board VHF/UHF/800MHz narrow-band OEM data radio modem with digital serial interface. Ideal for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), SCADA and telemetry applications. It is over-the-air compatible with Raveon’s 5-watt M7, 2W M6, and M8 series of data radios.

Devices can Communicate with WMX to all Data Radios

Wireless Modem Exchange (WMX) is the Protocol to communicate to Radios.   

All of our Radios are perfect for OEM systems that use these, Radios.  All of Raveon Radios have 20 pin connectors on the front of them.
The 20-pin interface is called UWORC:    Universal Wireless OEM Radio Connector is UWORC info.

WMX is the communication protocol used in all Raveon’s wireless modems, to allow a user to have full control over these sending and receiving of data.
It enables the user of a Raveon modem to specify the destination ID when sending data.   Many OEMs used WMX and our Radios!

This WMX feature can be turned on to any radio.   The Application not is:  WMXprotocol     Wireless Message Exchange serial interface is a   .PDF

Raveon’s UWORC connector is implemented on all OEM radio modems, enabling a user to utilize many different radio modems in their system.
