OEM Data Radios for MURS Band.
Raveon’s RV-M8x-VM and RV-M6x-VM data radio modem is a miniature FCC Part 95 certified data radio designed for telemetry.
Raveon makes OEM data radios for customers like you that need small low-cost radios.
SCADA, AVL, wireless data, mobile-data and remote control applications.
The M8 or M6 data radio transceiver is designed exclusively for use on the license-free MURS radio channels.
More information about these “MURS” radio channels is available in our application note AN115.
The 5 MURS channels are:
1 151.820 MHz 2 151.880 MHz 3 151.940 MHz
4 154.570 MHz 5 154.600 MHz
The RV-M8 is at 1-2 watt data Radio.
The M8 has 20 IO pins OEMs can connect to this radio
The M8 OEM radio is a large long-range data radio.
It can transmit up to 5 watts. so in MURS band mode, it is limited to 2 watts.
The RV-M6 is Miniature 0.2-2 watt data Radio.
The M6 has 20 IO pins OEMs can connect to this radio
It is 50% smaller than the M8.
The IO pins are the same as the M8, so an OEM system can use Either Radio the same.
This can also do 4-Level FM modulation to transmit and receive Fast.
RV-M21 Classic Data Radio Modem
