Z-50

This was created by Raveon in 2015 because a customer that needed this.    3G is not usable now.  We don’t build this  Z50…

The RV-Z50 OEM certified 3G cellular modem is a small, low-power radio modem for data communications over your choice of cellular networks. Low-cost data plans from Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile make the Z50 an economical, secure, and reliable data communication link. It is also compatible with Raveon’s Tech Series enclosure with flexible I/O options, and our DART Master Gateway for managing and securing you data.

While easy to use out-of-the-box, the Z50 modem’s programmability makes it extremely versatile. Most parameters may be reconfigured to optimize for specialized operations, extended range or higher data throughput.

M2M and the Internet Of Things

More and more people and companies around the globe are turning to Machine to Machine (M2M) communication devices for their day to day needs and business operations. Most of these devices end up talking over the Internet Of Things (IOT) to send their data. Raveons new Z50 radio is the perfect solution for sending and receiving your information on any size of operation. From tens to millions of contact points, Raveon has the perfect solution for your data communication needs anywhere on the globe, and can connect you to the IOT.

Z-50 Compatibility

The primary connector is fully pin-for-pin compatible with the M8 UHF, VHF, 220MHZ modems, V50 ISM band radio modems. This allows for immediate system integration of any number of Z-50 cellular modems into your systems. The Z-50 modem is compatible with our Tech Series enclosures, which comes with new interchangeable front I/O options to connect to your system in one of 6 ways: RS-232, RS-485, RS-422, GPIO, USB, and Analog.
