Protect  Devices that use DC power.   12V     ( 5V – 15V) Devices are Also Protected.

This RV-SP-1 device is designed to be plugged in-line with the DC input to electrical devices that may be subject to over-voltage (> 16V) events, large transient voltage spikes, electrical noise, or RF noise. It filters the DC and protects the connected device from over-voltage and transient events

It also has a built-in series power diode to prevent damage to the attached device if the DC input voltage is accidentally reversed.

Over-voltage conditions can occur during vehicle charging, or when a vehicle battery is disconnected while the engine is running. A poor battery terminal connection can result in periodic electric impulses that can damage connected devices. The RV-SP Surge Protector can withstand and protect a continuous over-voltage condition up to 50V.

Here are the General Features and Specifications:

  • Over-voltage protection for 12V, automotive, and heavy-equipment applications
  • Built-in RF and noise filtering.
