City of Borger Texas Uses Raveon’s RavTrack AVL System

Vista, California — Borger, Texas, has chosen to use Raveon’s “RavTrack” AVL system and RavTrack PC software to track the city’s vehicles.  The city has installed Raveon’s M7 GPS transponders in public safety vehicles such as police, fire and ambulances, as well is public works vehicles such as solid waste disposal trucks, transfer trucks and trailers. 
Borger’s public safety operation response time is aided by having real-time tracking and providing dispatchers with real-time vehicle location information. 

Historical analysis, mileage logging, and advanced reporting give the city works department a powerful fleet management tool. 
The RavTrack AVL system operates on UHF radio channels, with no recurring fees and the fasted update rate in the industry.  The UHF system covers the whole town of Borger, TX and out across much of the panhandle of Texas.
