Data Radios

data radio signalData radios are use in a variety of different industries in order to transmit data from a human or physical asset to another user. Although the process sounds extremely complicated, it is really quite simple. In order to transmit data from one point to another, data radios and digital data radios emit a radio wave between transmitters and receivers. The transmitter of the data radio will take some sort of message or data and convert it to a single radio wave. This radio wave contains three properties: a frequency, an amplitude, and phase. In order to effectively transmit these three properties, transmitters of dataradios must alter their characteristics in a defined manner. This process is called modulation.

Once the properties in the radio waves have been modulated, they can be transmitted through the transmitter to the receiver. An antenna is located on the transmitter to assist in this process. The radio waves transmitted by data radios will then travel through the air until they reach the digital data radio receiver. Like the transmitter, the receiver of data radios also contains antennas to assist in this process. Once the radio waves are received by the receiver, they are decoded and translated into physical information. This physical information can include sound, pictures, works, video, and or other information.
